From the AGL Homepage: AGL - Above Ground Level - is a family owned Disc Golf company, and we are the Bay Area's #1 Disc Golf Manufacturer. All of our products are "Made in the USA", and we are proud to help the Americans that manufacture our discs for us. We strive to give our players the best, most innovative, products on the market. AGL Discs Since 2011, our team has been hard at work with our obsession to look at this sport from what we call the "10,000 ft level". We started creating our first driver, the Cypress, from scratch - both the plastic and the mold designs, and they have come a LONG, LONG way. Our 3D Printed Prototype that lead the way to our first production run made it easy to prove the performance of our unique designs. Those changes allowed us to cater our designs, to what we were hearing as desirable traits, for the players. Here at AGL, we will always be vigorously testing our products, and looking for new ways to improve this great sport. We are not a large, multi-national company trying to make money off the "next big thing"; it's as far away from that as you can get! Above Ground Level is made up of The Jones Family, who work hard to ensure that each and every order gets handled with care and love. Andrea handles events, and promotions; as well as engaging with all our new accounts and providing excellent customer service. Our Warehouse Manager Ava (8yrs old) tells everyone around the office what to do, and she does inventory, packaging, and she even prints every single shipping label for our customers. We now have a team with over 60 members, including both Pro Open and Amateur players from all ages, and all walks of life. Our team is more like a family and we support each other as much as possible. Check us out on the Facebook AGL Discs Fan Page! I think when we all go out and play, we want two things - a lot of fun, and usually we also want to have a great game, because sometimes that's not the same thing! So we get out as much as we can to test our discs and practice our movements. We play, and sponsor, courses all over the United States, Canada, Finland, and even Thailand!! Owner, Josh, has even helped design courses and is available for course consultation, or design help, at any time. See if you can spot us playing in a tournament some time! Come Say Hello!#TeamAGL We're not afraid to turn the traditional designs inside out, upside down, or whatever else works to squeeze in every ounce of performance from our discs. Our customers know that every disc they buy from us has been designed on years of real world performance and twisting. By always willing to push the edge of the envelope, and integrating modern 3D workflows, we quickly take ideas and begin producing prototypes. This is what allows us to ensure high-quality, high-value products with extended research periods leading to short "time-to-market" once a design has been validated. * Each of our discs will correspond to a specific seed/tree, and vice versa. Our first designs being the, Cypress driver, which is currently discontinued. We now have more molds and we still give a corresponding tree seed, with each AGL Disc purchase from us. AGL Discs stands behind our company commitment to provide unique products that are more durable than our competitors. This will maintain a proper flight path for a longer lifespan. We are sure you will be happy once you give us a chance! We appreciate you taking the time to read this - and our website is a constant work in progress, so we also appreciate your patience. (IF you find something that needs fixing - let me know and I'll give you a surprise). Let's work together to grow the sport!

Crosslap Discs

The company that started it all. Disc Golf Association, (DGA) was established in 1976 by "Steady" Ed Headrick (PDGA number 1) to form a new international sport and to promote the installation and use of disc golf courses around the world. Ed coined and trademarked the term “Disc Golf” and he envisioned a game that would explode in popularity.

The disc golf brand designed specifically for kids. Most disc golf companies design their discs specifically for pros and those aspiring to be professional disc golfers. But what about the children? Kids can have fun playing disc golf too. When you take your children bowling do you give them a 15 pound bowling ball? Dino discs are light weight, and easy to throw. Discs designed specifically for kids and kids alike who have a maximum throwing distance of less than 200 feet. Plus, the come is super fun colors and plastic types!  Invest in your children's disc game, go with Dino!

Divergent Discs

Divergent Discs is different from other disc golf companies. While the focus of most disc golf manufacturers is on the professional player, our focus is on the casual every day player. Divergent discs are designed specifically for new and recreational disc golfers. If you’re young, old, or just like playing the occasional recreational round of disc golf these discs are for you. Here are a few reasons why you should consider trying Divergent Discs:
  • Simplicity – Divergent discs are simple. No need to be overwhelmed by all of the different plastic types and variations. Simple molds in bright basic colors and standard weights making it easy to choose and replace.
  • Easy to Throw – Divergent discs are designed for the average player. The average disc golfer does not throw 400+ feet, in fact survey results show that most people who play disc golf consider 300 feet a good throw. Most discs on the market are very overstable, because the molds are designed for professionals (their main marketing source) who need that kind of stability to handle their massive power. Divergent Discs are designed for the every day player. These discs will give you more control and distance than the average disc of the major brands.
  • Affordable – While other companies pay big dollars to professional disc golfers to market their brand, Divergent passes that savings along to you. Think of it kind of like name brand cereals. When you’re shopping the supermarket, you can pay for the premium brand cereal, the one that invests millions into advertising, or you can purchase the generic brand for substantially less.

Latitude 64

Lone Star Disc

Located deep in the heart of Texas, they started out as a family-owned company in the oilfield manufacturing business. During a downturn in the economy their disc golf playing sons came to the owner with an idea to make discs. They already used high performance material for their work in the oilfield, so they started with that, got together with their engineers and started making discs. At the same time COVID-19 hit and the disc golf market exploded. They make their own molds in house which gives them the ability to produce new models quickly. They are determined to help the sport grow in any way they can. They are thankful to all of the fan support. Plastics: Alpha – Smooth, beautiful, durable, firm, and tough. Alpha blend won't complain about punishing shots or elements. Bravo – Many shared characteristics as the Alpha blend, except Bravo offers more flexibility. Victor 1 – Grippy and flexible feel, preferred by many players. Ideal in wet conditions. Victor 2 – Same Grippy nature as Victor 1 but without the flexibility. Victor 2 is very firm. Glow - It Glows!!

MVP Disc Sports was founded by two brothers who are passionate about disc golf and have worked in their father’s plastic injection molding shop for many years. Having worked in a molding shop that specializes in two-step molding processes, they are very enthusiastic about implementing this two-step molding process into golf discs to push the sport to the next level.
