Divergent Lawin

Divergent Understable Distance Driver

The Divergent Lawin is a high speed distance driver to help recreational disc golfers break 300 feet.  Lawin means “Eagle” and this disc likes to soar in the high places.  This driver will provide a full S-Curve flight path for disc golfers who are currently able to throw between 250 and 300 feet.  The Lawin offers more high speed understability and distance potential than our other high speed driver the Basilisk. If the Basilisk becomes too flippy for you, try the Divergent Discs Lawin.  The Eagle has a big dome.  This dome gives the extra glide to put further distance on your drives!

Flight Numbers:

  • Speed: 12
  • Glide: 5
  • Turn: -3
  • Fade: 2

The Divergent Lawin is available in Max Grip plastic.

MaxGrip plastic is a premium TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) blend for maximum grip. This plastic has a fantastic shimmering appearance. It is moderately soft and flexible allowing for adequate safety and performance.  This is a premium disc golf blend that is much more durable than most golf discs for sale at comparable prices. The elastic nature of Maxgrip plastic allows it to quickly return to shape and gives it a heartbeat sound when pressing in the flight plate of many of our discs.

Divergent Discs

Divergent Discs is different from other disc golf companies. While the focus of most disc golf manufacturers is on the professional player, our focus is on the casual every day player. Divergent discs are designed specifically for new and recreational disc golfers. If you’re young, old, or just like playing the occasional recreational round of disc golf these discs are for you. Here are a few reasons why you should consider trying Divergent Discs:
  • Simplicity – Divergent discs are simple. No need to be overwhelmed by all of the different plastic types and variations. Simple molds in bright basic colors and standard weights making it easy to choose and replace.
  • Easy to Throw – Divergent discs are designed for the average player. The average disc golfer does not throw 400+ feet, in fact survey results show that most people who play disc golf consider 300 feet a good throw. Most discs on the market are very overstable, because the molds are designed for professionals (their main marketing source) who need that kind of stability to handle their massive power. Divergent Discs are designed for the every day player. These discs will give you more control and distance than the average disc of the major brands.
  • Affordable – While other companies pay big dollars to professional disc golfers to market their brand, Divergent passes that savings along to you. Think of it kind of like name brand cereals. When you’re shopping the supermarket, you can pay for the premium brand cereal, the one that invests millions into advertising, or you can purchase the generic brand for substantially less.
