The Discraft Wasp is a long flying midrange driver. Some call it a long Buzzz but this disc is more overstable. The Wasp™ is Discraft‘s most popular overstable midrange. Superbly consistent flight characteristics for shots in the 250-350 foot range, you’ll want one for windy days or hyzer finishes. You can really get some power behind this disc without worrying about big turnovers. It might flex a little, but it will finish with a good fade. Therefore, it is a great alternative to fairway drivers if you want to throw a slow speed disc.
Flight Numbers:

The Discraft Wasp is available in Z Plastic.
The Z Line is Discraft’s max durability plastic. It comes in an array of translucent color with simple yet effective stamps. Above all, these discs will give the most consistent flight patterns over time.
Pro Review:
The Wasp is my favorite mid range in my bag. After throwing it for a few seasons it is well used and holds a straight line in a variety of conditions. I think the Wasp doesn’t get as much attention as it should due to the popularity of the Buzzz, but a nicely seasoned wasp is just as dependable when you need a straight line that won’t turn over or fade out too soon. – Wesley Shinevar, Team Discraft
