Discraft Scorch

Discraft Stable to Understable Distance Driver

The Discraft Scorch is a stable to understable distance driver. Its the longer version of the Avenger SS.   Which Makes it a great distance driver that will have some turn and a decent amount of fade providing a consistent “S” curve flight path. Slower arm speeds should find this gives a nice straight flight before a consistent fade.

Flight Numbers:

  • Speed: 11
  • Glide: 6
  • Turn: -2
  • Fade: 2

Discraft Stability Rating: 0.5

The Discraft Scorch is available in Z Plastic.

The Z Line is Discraft’s max durability plastic.  It comes in an array of translucent color with simple yet effective stamps.  Above all, these discs will give the most consistent flight patterns over time.

Stamps may vary from pictured discs

Nomad Review:

I would start off by saying that this disc is a great disc.  However, the flight of the disc is not truly represented in the flight numbers.   I would actually make it considerably more stable in the rating.  The Turn should probably be more like -1 because even when I threw this think with full power, it didn’t turn at all.  The Glide is spot on, but the Fade is closer to 3.  All in all, it goes straight for a long time and should give anyone a bump in their distance.  – Tim, Nomad Discs
